Very Rev. Paul S. Hart, V.F.
Father Paul is in his seventh year as the
pastor at St. Andrew. He served as assistant pastor for
two years before becoming the pastor. He has been Dean
for the Algiers/Plaquemines Deanery since 2004. He also
serves on the Finance Council of the Archdiocese and
has recently been asked to serve on the Board of the
Office of Catholic Schools.
Father Paul was born in New Orleans. He
graduated from Brother Martin High School and St. Joseph
Seminary, where he was a philosophy major. He received
his Master of Divinity Degree from Notre Dame Seminary
in 1989 and was ordained on August 12, 1989.
Prior to coming to St. Andrew, Father Paul
was at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton for four years, St. Charles
Borromeo for three years, and St. Ann for one year.
Father Paul has been a Big Brother and
has served as alumni president of St. Joseph Seminary.
