Deacon Clyde Ardoin

Ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in 2006, Deacon Clyde is assigned to St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and also has an Archdiocesan assignment at Oschner-Westbank.

He was born in Ville Platte, LA. and graduated from Sacred Heart of Ville Platte and Loyola University in New Orleans. Deacon Clyde has lived on the Westbank of New Orleans (Algiers) for 34 years. He has been married to his wife, Trudy, for 38 years and has two sons and two grandchildren.

After a 30-year career in the shipyard business, he is currently working as Controller for T. T. Management, LLC, a group engaged in the cleaning and repair of barges.
